My New Year's Resolution is to keep up with my blog! I was so excited about it when I started it, and then life got busy and I dropped the ball. But I'm starting out this year with new blog posts and lots of new ideas!
A lot has changed for me since my last post. I'm at a new school in a new grade level and it has been a HUGE adjustment! I've taught 5th grade for the last three years, and this year I'm teaching 3rd. It has taken me some time to realize that my 3rd graders can't do some of the same things my 5th graders could do, but I'm getting the hang of it and have developed some new products to help. My 3rd graders had a hard time taking notes, even when they were fill-in-the-blank, so I started making interactive notebook pages, and my students have really enjoyed them. I tried to make them as simple as possible so there aren't any fancy foldables or cool designs, but they are easy to cut and put together which is what my kids needed! I have made two interactive notebook pages so far. One is on magnets (click here to download) and the other is on heat (click here to download).
